I Grow Mids

FAQ

Is growing cannabis legal where I am?

We cannot tell you that, and anyone who answers it confidently without knowing where you live is guessing. Home cultivation is legal in some states, capped at a specific plant count in others, and a felony elsewhere. Rules also differ between state, county and city, and they change. Search your state plus home cultivation law before you buy seeds. That is genuinely step zero.

Do you sell seeds, plants or equipment?

No. We do not sell or ship anything at all. Some links to gear are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you buy through one, at no extra cost to you. It does not affect what we recommend.

Why is it called I Grow Mids?

Mids is mediocre weed, and mediocre weed is the normal result of a first grow. Saying that out loud is the whole point of the site. The goal for grow one is a living plant that makes it to a jar, not a trophy harvest.

How does the Plant Doctor work?

You pick the symptoms you can actually see, optionally narrow by growth stage and what you are growing in, and it ranks the likely causes by how much of what you selected each one explains. Selecting more symptoms makes it sharper. It is a starting point for your own diagnosis, not a verdict.

My plant looks bad and nothing matches. What now?

Check pH first. In soil, most problems that look like a nutrient deficiency are really pH lockout, where the food is present but the plant cannot absorb it. After that, change one variable at a time and give it three to five days. Changing four things at once means you will never know which one worked.

Is this advice for indoor or outdoor growing?

Indoor, in a small tent or closet, in soil, with one to four plants. That is the most common way people start and the easiest to control. Most of the plant biology carries over to outdoor growing, but the environment sections will not.

Is any of this medical or legal advice?

No. It is horticultural information for adults 21 and over in places where home growing is permitted. Nothing here is legal advice, medical advice, or a recommendation to break any law.
